How am I going to use blogs in my group lesson ideas assignment?

Missing: New gadget for teaching SS lessons.

I'm using this space to show some useful online tools for enhancing social studies lessons. The lesson is geared towards inquire-based learning.
1) Mindmap (http://cmap.ihmc.us/conceptmap.html) or c.r. txtbook p.174
2) Webresources (http://www.gradebook.org/Social%20Studies.htm) contains many resources, but mainly for Amercian schools curriculum.
3) Web simulation (http://americanpresident.warnerbros.com/lobby.html) In this website, users get a virtual tour of the Whitehouse and participate in an online poll and quizzes. Users would get a sense of govenance from this activity. (Thinking idea: similar activity may be used for teaching the role of the 3 structures in Singapore government.)

Sorry the ideas are a bit sporadic. We can discuss more when we meet up again..
